Its been two years
since we were parted
from our beloved friend,
our treasure, truth sayer, dearest Hrant.
We have spent this whole long year
mourning for the colours of our lives
that were lost with Hrants departure.
We, the citizens of this country,
do not want to get inured to
living in a doves skittishness,
among unresolved assassinations.
As dignified crowds that do not breed
hatred from this inconceivable murder,
to illuminate the darkness
that creates assassins from babies,
to claim a bright future for our country,
to together carry the load of our deep grief,
for justice, for peace, for brother and sisterhood
as the victims and watchers of the Hrant Dink case,
we are meeting on January 19th..
Irrespective of religion, language,
race, gender, and political opinion,
we are gathering as citizens
who believe in the brotherhood of peoples.
We are meeting in front of Agos Newspaper at 14:30 - 15:30
