Childhood on Hold

Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Refugee Advocacy Support Program’s third advocacy report, “Childhood on Hold”, discusses the problems encountered by separated minor refugees in the Turkish asylum system. 

Among other topics, the report focuses on long-term care, education, healthcare, refugee status determination and resettlement procedures, legal representation and guardianship of separated minor refugees. The report includes recommendations made to relevant authorities and institutions.
