The project is implemented in partnership with Human Rights Agenda Association.
Refugee Advocacy and Support Program
Refugee Advocacy and Support Program (RASP), a program of the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly (hCa) builds on two years of informal legal advice, followed by the founding in 2004 of hCa’s Refugee Legal Aid Program. RASP focuses on advocating for and raising awareness about the situation and rights of refugees in Turkey with lawmakers, NGOs, professionals and students. The legitimacy and grounding for RASP’s advocacy efforts are based on its critical fieldwork providing legal and psychological assistance to refugees.

"Promoting Freedom of Association in Turkey" Project
hCa has been carrying out many projects regarding freedom of association and specifically regarding laws on associations for six years. The project activities planned for this year have been designed with the backing of our experience, as well as the evaluations and feedbacks that are collected through these previous projects. This project, thus, is a further phase of the previous activities that hCa has been carrying out through the past five years, with re-designed, transformed, and additional activities.
